I do my best to eat healthy snacks. The key for me is to eat both protein and carbs. Not just carbs, that would be really bad for me (I would come crashing down pretty quickly). I eat two planned snack per day. I have a small snack before my morning workout and one between breakfast and lunch. Normally I will eat a banana dipped in peanut butter at 4:30 am and some dry Corn Chex cereal with a piece of string cheese at about 9:30am.
But I have recently discovered a new snack that I LOVE! Honey and a thin layer of peanut butter on whole grain bread (Pepperidge Farm 15 grain bread, Jif Natural Peanut Butter, Great Value Honey). It has the whole grains and peanut butter I need for energy and the honey adds just a little sweetness for my MASSIVE sweet tooth. It is so good...yummmmmmmy!

This is one of Josiah's favorite...peanut butter and honey in a pita pocket.
I LOVED PB and honey on toast during the last trimester of my pregnancy! The toasted bread melts the PB....yummy!
I just had some with my dinner. It is the best food ever!
