Training Summary

I focused on my eating this past week. My body does not use sugar properly. Eating too much or too little causes me to be very fatigued. I am insulin resistant and hypoglycemic. I can workout 3 hours a day but if I am eating even a little more sugar than I should, I will not lose any weight. In fact I will have a hard time maintaining. This is actually a blessing in disguise. Yes, it is hard to keep my blood sugar where I want it to be. But it is also easy for me to control my weight. I know exactly what I need to do lose and gain weight. No guess work for me, just a simple game of math.

It was insightful to closely monitor my sugar level this week. I found areas where I need to improve and lots of places where I am doing great. I did train this week, here are my totals:

Swim- 1.7 miles (BAD sinus infection and an allergy to the pool water lowered my distances)
Run- 15.15 miles (not a great number, but I am nursing my ITB right now)
Bike- 76.84 miles (I even road outside! So fun!)

This week I am focusing on weight training. I will still swim, bike, and run. But my distances in these three areas will be down.

Here are my totals for the last 5 weeks-

Swim-30.72 miles
Run- 102.07
Bike- 274.99
