I have been enjoying many benefits from this new way of eating. Most importantly I am no longer on the fast track to diabetes, my energy level is up, I sleep better, talk more, smile more, and feel like I did in my teens :) Aaron has mentioned on many occasions that he "has his bride back."
I didn't think that anyone would notice my weight loss. Surprisingly it was one of the first things that people would say to me at Christmas. I was taken back really. The weight came off over a period of three months. To me it was pretty gradual. I decided to take a picture to check the difference between September (when I started this journey) and today.

September, after finishing my first half marathon. Three days later I was diagnosed as prediabetic.

Today, can you see a difference?
If I can eliminate sugar and carbs and get healthy, anyone can!

You look fantastic Amy!! Congrats on the healthy eating. I'm joining weight watchers this week, in a month I'm gonna quit smoking and get back to the gym and start running again. I decided it's best to do one thing at a time, but can't wait. Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks Rachel! I am excited to see what the year holds for you! Lots of great changes :)
The change is definitely noticeable!!! I've always thought you were in great shape. You looked more defined now. Way to go! :)
Definately not the amazing change that I see in your photos Jan!
