I tried a couple new recipes tonight and they were too good not to share!
Onion Chicken
-Skinless boneless chicken breasts
-Mayonnaise (I used fat free)
-1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
-¾ Cup dry bread crumbs
Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
Combine bread crumbs and soup mix.
Coat chicken with mayonnaise.
Coat chicken with the bread crumbs/soup mix mixture.
Place coated chicken in prepared dish.
Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Uncover and look cook for 15 more minutes.
Here is the odd thing, take off all the coating before serving! (Removing the coating leaves a slight onion taste to chicken (not over powering). YUMMY!)
Joshua took one bite and pretended to faint…
Roasted Red Potatoes
-Red potatoes, quartered
-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp onion powder
-6 tablespoons melted butter
Melt butter and add seasonings.
Add potatoes to butter/seasoning mixture.
Stir to coat potatoes.
Place potatoes in a roasting pan and cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Uncover and cook approximately 15 more minutes.
Aaron said they tasted just like potatoes from Applebee’s.
