This Week's Training Summary

The above picture says it all. I am not too excited about my training this past week. All of my distances were less than stellar.

I do have some excuses:
-I have a bad cold
-I have been pushing myself for three weeks and my body is starting to show signs of fatigue
-I was not motivated..at...all (due in part to the above two excuses)

But those are all just excuses. Hopefully this coming week I can push through the fatigue and sickness and come back with some awesome numbers.

Here are my totals:
Swim- 7.5 miles
Bike- 27.5 miles
Run- 14.3 miles

I do have two accomplishments:
-On Saturday I was feeling pretty bad (head cold) and was not very energetic. But I got myself to the pool and swam 2300 yd (about a mile and a half). I went home and set out on a run. I was not sure how far I would get considering my cold. I ended up running 7.3 miles! The greatest part was that I felt great and could have kept on running :)

-Aaron bought me Garmin watch for Christmas (shows your pace as you run and keeps track of your distance). When I first started using it I was running 11 minute miles (in January). I am now between 8:15 and 9:30 :) I love being able to look down and actually see how fast I am running.
