Joshua has been studying Harriet Tubman, the Civil War, and the Bill of Rights. His writing assignment this week was to make a Bill of Rights. He chose to make his about cats.

We the cats of the world clawed our own Bill of Rights to establish justice towards all cats.

4. Keep cats away from dogs.
5. Don’t drop cats.
6. Let cats eat bugs.
7. Let cats be secret agents.
8. Let cats play with pencils
9. Let cats jump onto tables
10. Let them nap.
11. Don’t give cats baths.
12. Don’t kick cats.
13. Don’t yell at cats.
14. Feed them twice a day.
15. Make forts for your cat.
16. Let cats play with paper bags.
17. Let cats play with boxes.
18. Let cats get birds.
19. Let cats play and kill stuffed dogs.
20. Let cats eat mice.
21. Let cats go on vacation with you.
22. Let cats out of rooms if they want out.
23. Let cats in if they want in.

This is a picture of Joshua reading his Bill of Rights (the boys always stand in a chair and read their writing to everyone). I love Asher's face :)
