Workout Stats

Lots of people have asked me when I workout. With three kids at home all day (we homeschool), meals to make (we eat out only 1 time each week), a house to clean, laundry, and a 100 other mom jobs that must be accomplished. My answer- in the wee hours of the morning when everyone else is still sleeping. I usually get up around 5am, but sometimes as early as 4:15 (swim days). Those early morning workouts add up each week. These are my stats according to dailymile.com:

Distance-9 miles (unfortuantly my bike trainer does not keep track of miles)
Time-12 hours and 30 minutes
Calories burned-5570
# of workouts-13

Reason for 13 workouts- Most days I do two different workouts in the morning (for example 1 hour of weights followed by 30 minutes on the bike trainer). These are logged in as separate workouts.

If I can fit in that much exercise each week, so can you! Don't let the role of "mom" sabotage your health. Your husand and children need a healthy mom :)
