Crazy Week!

About two weeks ago I hurt my left knee. Upon doing some research I determined that I must have pulled three of the four ligaments connecting my femur to my tibia and fibula.

After two weeks I was finally feeling better so I headed to the gym and started running. After 1 mile I started having some pain and was about ready to stop and go home. But I kept going just to see if it would get worse. In a very short amount of time the pain went away and so I kept on running. I ended up running 10 miles!! It was a GREAT feeling!

That was Saturday. On Sunday our family got hit hard with some sort of bug (not H1N1). For the last 4 days we have been trying to recover. I can happily say that we are feeling almost 100% :) I am hoping to hit the gym tomorrow morning (I HATE missing my gym time).

I purchased some fabric about 6 months ago in hopes of making the boys pillowcases. Here is the fabric before I begin, I will have an after picture soon :) Can you tell they like Nascar!
This is a pillow case I made some time ago, I love it :)

I am really excited to start making Elliana's quilt. I have made several quilts for my family and one as a gift. Elliana is the only one yet to have one of her own. I will be getting fabric this weekend!
