Dancing with Daddy :)

Our children are bombarded with the "your not good enough" message throughout their lives. They hear this from other children, movies, ads. I am always telling my kids that they are special, beautiful, smart and a long list of other affirmations. I know that regardless of how many times I utter these words it will never be enough to outnumber the negatives they will hear. But I am sure going to try :)

When I get Elliana ready for the day I tell her "go show daddy how beautiful you look". She beams and runs out of the room. She knows what is coming next. She runs to Aaron shoots him a beautiful smile and absorbs his praises. And oh how he gushes over her with words that touch her sweet little heart. These pictures were taken after such an exchange. She just had to dance with her daddy :)
